EU Regulation 2023/1542 aims to create more sustainable, safe and transparent batteries throughout their lifecycle.
DIGITAL BATTERY PASSPORT
A digital set, accessible via QR code, that will provide key information about the battery throughout its lifetime.
IMPLEMENTATION
18 FEBRUARY 2027
The requirement applies to batteries placed on the EU market after this date.
